Busy bee

I've started my maternity leave on Monday and been busy with baby stuff since we're going to turn our studio into a tiny nursery. ^^

I've found some pretty stuff including wall decals and furniture then...I stumbled upon this awesome felt donkey doll which would look PERFECT in her room I so want to buy now but I gotta wait till February cuz my CC will cry if I don't LOL.
Hopefully it'll still be available in a few days time.

Faerietales are LOVE

I wanna "pin" the following website because I find those artists' work soooo ...ME!
I simply love their style and I really wish I were so talented!

The FILIGREE

Check out how beautiful their dolls and other works are! For example these are cards on sale in their Etsy shop:

Spoonflower

While I was checking the BJD forum "Den of Angels" I saw the link to a very interesting website ... at least I think it's interesting for all crafters and artists out there.

Basically you can create/print/sell your own custom fabrics or buy some very cool ones made by others. I'm definitely going to try make my own!!!

I signed up and ordered a fabric sample pack for $1.00 LOL :)

Enchanted Doll

My birthday is in just a few days, Jan 19 and when my brother asked me what he could get me...I just went and pre-ordered this book:

Enchanted Doll website: she's one of my all-time favorite doll artists but unfortunately I haven't had the chance yet to buy one of her dolls...maybe one day who knows...in the meanwhile I enjoy what I see online and...well...I can't wait to receive this artbook (i'm a sucker for artbooks) <3

Favors for my baby Christening...

I know it's ages yet but I'm quite an organized person so tonight I found myself thinking about which favors to get for my baby's Christening in a few months time.

Unfortunately, as for weddings, most of the times I've seen very plain or very common pieces and I sure don't want to end up into the boring category.
So my first choice are the Montedragone dolls. Link: http://www.montedragone.it/dolls_fairies_elves_fantasy.html
I've seen them in an old-fashioned toy shop downtown and my cousin has a few at home! Needless to say I fell in love with them and -first of all- I'm planning on buying a big one for myself then...I want to get a bunch of the tiny ones to give our guests at the reception. :) Below some examples :

Hello ... first post!

I've finally decided to re-vamp this blog of mine which has been put aside for quite sometime.

I hope to be a good blogger while waiting for my baby #1 to arrive...two months is plenty of time to get used to this new journal even if I have lots to organize to welcome my little princess in the best possible way.

I will post about a bunch of different things but since today I feel like baking...here's a pic of a yummy dessert...oven baked apples with sugar and cinnamon (one of my all-time favorites!)
